"The Troubadour - Brisbane Album Launch" - May 16th 2010
The new Album "Face to Face" will be officially launched at The Troubadour Sunday May 16th. Tickets are $12 Door or $10 Pre-sold at: The Troubadour. Eleanor will be joined by Melbourne Band "The Tealeaves". and wonderful local boys from "The Indigo Kids".

"Upfront Club Launch" - Show of Surprises
After managing to crash her car on the way to Maleny, Eleanor managed to make it in time to the Upfront Club to play to a wonderful, supportive Maleny audience. A big thanks to the Fire men, Danny Rose and to Janet Angel for coming to the rescue.

"An Intimate Solo Show" - Surprise Show May 1 at the Globe
Wonderful talent Monique Brumby. is on tour launching her new album and is playing at the Globe on Saturday May 1. Eleanor will be performing an intimate solo set.

"Face to Face" - Album Launch Tour Dates Announced
This Autumn, to celebrate the release of her second album Face to Face, Brisbane folk-pop songstress Eleanor Angel is embarking on a series of East Coast performances, culminating in a hometown CD launch on Sunday 16th May at the Troubadour.

Hard at work
Eleanor is working hard with Engineer/ co-producer Ben Stewart on recording her new album set for release later this year. The album will be a scaled back acoustic one focusing on Eleanor's intricate Guitar arrangements blended with the light percussion and gorgeous cello sounds she's been working with over the past 6 months.

Successful Launch

Launching May 3rd @ Troubadour
Eleanor is launching her debut album at the Troubadour on Sunday, May 3. She will be joined by a string quintet, 3 harmony vocalists and many other wonderful musicians including bass player Lee Peters & pianist Joseph Twist.

Out of Temptation
"Out of Temptation" has been featured on Women of Substance Radio's new show on "the best Piano-based songs by Indie artists". This show includes some old favorites from their previous Piano Ballads show along with some great new artists to WOS Radio. "Out of Temptation" will continue to be in their regular playlist: live 365 and Women of Substance Radio.

Eleanor Angel & The Quickening
The formation of a band: Eleanor's new trio featuring Percussionist David Kemp and Cellist Kathy Baker is an exciting line up with just the right flavour for her intricate song-writing style. Eleanor's keen string arranging skills are very much put to work in writing for this wonderful ensemble that allows her to bring her very particular ideas about music to life.
